GETTING READY FOR OPENING DAY

The countdown is officially on! ETBA’s Opening Day is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome players, families, and community members back to the diamonds for another fantastic season.

Opening Day is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026, marking the start of a summer full of baseball, friendships, and community spirit.

A New Season Begins

Each year, Opening Day is one of the most special days on the ETBA calendar. It’s when our fields come alive again with the sound of bats cracking, gloves popping, and cheers from the stands. From our youngest T-Ball players stepping onto the diamond for the first time to our older divisions preparing for a competitive season, Opening Day is truly for everyone in our baseball family.

Opening Day is more than just the first games of the season—it’s a celebration of community baseball in East Toronto. Families can look forward to:

The return of House League games across all divisions
Players meeting their coaches & teammates
Players receiving their uniforms, if they don’t already have them

A festive atmosphere to kick off the 2026 season together
