Here’s a ready-to-use prompt you can use in your favourite AI chat. Fill in the brackets with your team’s specific info, customize, copy and paste, and AI will do the heavy lifting for you:

Create a baseball defensive lineup for [X] players across [Y] innings for all standard baseball positions. Spread out the positions and bench players as evenly as possible to maximize the amount of playing time and exposure to each position for each player. The players are: [list all player names]. Create a table with positions on the left and inning number across the top in landscape orientation.

For added customization you can include:
