T-ball - 4 & 5 YEARS OLD (2020 and 2021)
PLAYS ON WEDNESDAY AT 6:30PM AT EITHER kIMBERLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL OR BLANTYRE PUBLIC SCHOOL.
- “Everybody hits, everybody runs, everybody scores!”
- No score is kept. No wins or losses are recorded.
- No prior experience required to play.
- Players get as many swings as they need to hit the ball off of a tee.
- All players run the bases.
- Fielding plays can be completed as per the rules of baseball, but outs are not called.
- All members of a team bat on their side of the inning. To end an inning, last batter will be called and the last batter’s batted ball must be placed by the pitcher or catcher of the defensive team on the tee at home plate.
4 Pitch - 6 & 7 YEARS OLD (BORN 2018 and 2019)
PLAYS ON THURSDAY AT 6:30PM AT EITHER BLANTYRE PUBLIC SCHOOL OR KIMBERLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL.
- “Everybody hits, everybody runs, everybody scores!”
- No score is kept. No wins or losses are recorded.
- No prior experience required to play.
- Players get 4 swings at pitches thrown underhand to them by their coach. If they miss the pitches, they can use as many swings as they like to hit a ball off of a tee.
- All players run the bases.
- Fielding plays can be completed as per the rules of baseball, but outs are not called.
- All members of a team bat on their side of the inning. To end an inning, last batter will be called and the last batter’s batted ball must be fielded by a defensive player in contact with home plate.
Rookie ball - 8 & 9 YEARS OLD (BORN 2016 and 2017)
PLAYS ON MONDAY at 6:30pm, ONE GAME PER WEEK. ALL GAMES AT EAST TORONTO ATHLETIC FIELD.
- No prior experience required to play. This level of baseball is still the introduction to baseball for many ballplayers.
- The score is kept and wins and losses are recorded.
- Outs are recorded, but 3 outs will not end an inning. Each team will bat the same number of players per inning. For instance, if one team has 11 players and the other 9, the team with 9 will bat their first two batters of the inning twice so that 11 players bat.
- Batters are allotted four pitches thrown by a pitching machine.
- The pitching machine is used by both teams at a set distance and speed. Coaches feed the machine to pitch to their own team.
- There are no leadoffs and no stealing at this level.
- To end an inning, last batter will be called and the last batter’s batted ball must be fielded by a defensive player in contact with home plate. The last batter striking out will also end the inning.
Mosquito - 10 & 11 YEARS OLD (BORN 2014 and 2015)
PLAYS TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY at 6:30pm, TWO GAMES PER WEEK. ALL GAMES AT EAST TORONTO ATHLETIC FIELD.
- No prior experience required to play. It’s never too late. Our coaches will spend extra time with any ballplayer without baseball experience. 😊
- The score is kept and wins and losses are recorded.
- Regular rules of baseball apply with some modifications for this level of development.
- This is the first level where players are active pitchers in the game.
- No pitcher can pitch more than 2 innings of a regular season game or 3 innings of a playoff game. A pitcher’s innings must be consecutive. If a pitcher is pulled, they cannot pitch again that game.
- No leadoffs are permitted. A player may attempt to steal second or third after a pitched ball has crossed the plate. Stealing home is not permitted.
- 3 outs ends an inning.
PEEWEE - 12 & 13 YEARS OLD (BORN 2012 and 2013)
PLAYS ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY, TWO GAMES PER WEEK. ALL GAMES AT EAST TORONTO ATHLETIC FIELD.
- Wins and loses are recorded
- Regular rules of baseball are observed.
bantam - 14 & 15 YEARS OLD (BORN 2010 and 2011)
PLAYS two games per week. games can be monday, TUESDAY, wednesday, or thursday. GAMES Are played at various fields across the city.

U18 - 16 to 19 YEARS OLD (BORN 2007, 2008, and 2009)
